Private Brisbane, History And Heritage

Offer Image
A private tour in Brisbane is the perfect way to experience the beauty, history and heritage of Australia's third largest city. Interact with native Australian animals at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, admire the view from Mt. Coot-tha and discover South Bank Parklands.

Private Brisbane, History and Heritage

Skip the large, over-crowded bus tours when in Brisbane and be provided a true, local experience with a private tour all your own. There is no better way to get to know a new place except when you are in the company of a local. Meet your professional and friendly driver directly at the port and be shown to your comfortable, air-conditioned transportation that is waiting just for you.

Start your day first thing in the morning and set off from the pier area making your way to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. After arriving, you can begin first with a nice morning tea at the Riverside Cafe. You will have just over 2 hours to explore this amazing sanctuary, the world's first and largest koala sanctuary with 130 koalas. Hold a koala, hand feed kangaroos and meet a large variety of Australian wildlife in beautiful, natural settings. Interact with the animals while connecting with nature as you experience their habitats and learn how protecting habitats is protecting wildlife.

From here you will next travel to Mt Coot-tha where you can have a delicious lunch at The Summit Restaurant. Discover a large bush reserve where Brisbane's highest point is punctuated by Mt Coot-tha, at 287 meters tall. You will be provided an extraordinary birds-eye view of the city skyline and greater metro area. On a clear day you can even view the Moreton Bay islands.

Make your way back to the city and visit South Bank Parklands where you can ride the Wheel of Brisbane, stroll the harbor or see Australia's only inner-city beach. Covering 17 hectares of riverfront land, the Parklands feature free swimming facilities, walking tracks, licensed picnic areas and more. It is also home to a year-round calendar of events and plenty of eateries, including the award-winning River Quay.

To round out your day, travel lastly to Kangaroo Point Cliffs in the inner-city. The Cliffs are a heritage-listed location at Kangaroo Point just across the Brisbane River from the Brisbane CBD. The Cliffs are perhaps the most dramatic natural land formation in the city and are an iconic part of the cityscape, placed in between the Story Bridge and the leisure-hub of South Bank.

You will then be returned to the pier area and your ship upon completion of this remarkable day exploring and getting to know Brisbane up close and personal in a very intimate and exclusive way.
